About Sandiya
A quieter, more considered approach to fertility care.
Sandiya was founded on a simple conviction: that fertility treatment should be as thoughtful as it is technically excellent. We treat every patient as an individual — not a protocol — with time to explain, time to listen, and time to plan the treatment that fits your body and circumstances.
“Every fertility journey deserves precision, patience, and privacy — held together by science, guided by care.”
Patient-first, protocol-second
Diagnostic clarity comes before intervention. We investigate carefully so treatment recommendations are grounded in your specific clinical picture.
Transparent from the first conversation
Expected outcomes, realistic timelines, and treatment costs are discussed openly — before you commit to anything.
Advanced embryology, quietly delivered
A quality-controlled laboratory, time-lapse monitoring, and rigorous witness protocols — the technical work patients rarely see but always benefit from.
Emotional support, throughout
Fertility care is more than medicine. Counselling and dedicated coordinators are woven into every stage of your journey.
Core Treatments
A full spectrum of reproductive & gynaecological care.
From first evaluation through advanced assisted reproduction — each pathway is designed around your diagnosis, age, and goals.
In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF)
Controlled ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval, laboratory fertilisation, and embryo transfer — the foundational treatment for a range of infertility diagnoses.
ICSI
A single healthy sperm is precisely injected into each mature egg — critical for male-factor infertility or previous IVF fertilisation failure.
IUI
Prepared sperm is placed directly into the uterus at the point of ovulation — often the first-line option for unexplained or mild male-factor infertility.
Frozen Embryo Transfer
Vitrified embryos are thawed and transferred in a prepared cycle — allowing greater flexibility and, in many cases, improved outcomes vs fresh transfer.
Blastocyst Culture
Embryos are cultured to day 5–6 in the laboratory, enabling selection of the strongest embryos for transfer and improved implantation rates.
Preimplantation Genetic Testing
Chromosomal and single-gene screening of embryos before transfer — reducing miscarriage risk and supporting informed treatment decisions.
Egg & Embryo Freezing
Fertility preservation using vitrification — for medical, oncology, or personal reasons, with maintained oocyte and embryo integrity.
Donor Programmes
Ethical, transparent donor egg and sperm programmes with detailed medical and genetic screening — following the highest regulatory standards.
Why Patients Choose Sandiya
Considered care, from the first appointment onwards.
The differences that matter — in diagnosis, in the laboratory, in how we communicate, and in the emotional support around every treatment plan.
Individualised fertility protocols
No two patients receive the same plan. Stimulation, monitoring, and transfer strategy are chosen for your specific profile.
Advanced embryology laboratory
Air quality, temperature, and pH monitored continuously — the environment where embryo quality is preserved.
Evidence-based treatment planning
Recommendations are grounded in published clinical evidence, not commercial pressure. If a treatment isn’t right for you, we say so.
Experienced specialists
Reproductive endocrinologists, embryologists, andrologists, and gynaecological surgeons — under one roof.
Transparent communication
Expected costs, probability of success, and treatment alternatives are discussed openly at the outset.
Confidential patient care
Private consultation rooms, encrypted records, and dedicated waiting areas — because dignity is part of medicine.
Emotional counselling
On-staff counsellors available throughout treatment — because fertility care is as psychological as it is medical.
International patient coordination
Dedicated coordinators for outstation and overseas patients — from initial teleconsultation through follow-up at home.
Advanced Technology
The clinical infrastructure behind every treatment.
The technology patients rarely see — but always feel the benefit of. Every laboratory and diagnostic system is chosen and maintained to international standards.
Time-lapse embryo monitoring
Embryos remain in a stable environment while continuous imaging supports better selection at transfer.
Laser-assisted hatching
Precision-controlled thinning of the zona pellucida to support implantation in selected cases.
Vitrification cryopreservation
Ultra-rapid freezing that preserves egg and embryo integrity, enabling flexible treatment timing.
Preimplantation genetic testing
PGT-A, PGT-M, and PGT-SR available through accredited genetic laboratory partners.
High-resolution 3D/4D ultrasound
Detailed pelvic imaging for accurate diagnosis and precise treatment monitoring.
Advanced hysteroscopy & laparoscopy
Minimally invasive gynaecological surgery preserving fertility wherever medically appropriate.
Comprehensive andrology laboratory
Semen analysis, DNA fragmentation, and surgical sperm retrieval — the male half of the workup, done well.
Witness-protocol electronic records
Dual-verified electronic embryology witnessing — the gold standard for laboratory identity assurance.
The Patient Journey
Seven stages, guided at every step.
A clear treatment pathway — so you always know what comes next, why, and how long it will take.

After two unsuccessful cycles at another clinic, we came to Sandiya for a second opinion. They looked at everything again — endometrial receptivity, immunological factors, thyroid — and changed the protocol. Our daughter arrived nine months later.

I was 39, low AMH, and had been told IVF was unlikely to work for me. The team here disagreed — they explained mini-IVF, we did two retrievals, and now our son is one. The honesty from the first appointment earned my trust.

The male-factor investigation was thorough in a way we’d not experienced before. ICSI worked on our first cycle after adjustment to my medication and lifestyle. Grateful to the andrology team.

We came from Dubai for treatment. The coordination — from teleconsultation, to timing our visit, to follow-up back home — was seamless. What surprised me most was how personal the care felt despite being from abroad.

I froze my eggs at 32 for personal reasons. The team walked me through everything — the science, the realistic probabilities, the costs. There was no upselling. That kind of care is rare.

Endometriosis had been dismissed by two previous doctors. Here, the surgical and fertility team worked together — laparoscopic treatment first, then IVF. I’m now 22 weeks pregnant. Thank you.

Frequently Asked
Questions worth asking.
The queries we hear most often — answered plainly, without medical jargon. If your question isn’t here, our care team will respond within 24 hours.
When should a couple seek fertility treatment?
Couples under 35 are generally advised to consult a fertility specialist after twelve months of trying to conceive. If the female partner is over 35, this window shortens to six months. Any known medical history — irregular cycles, endometriosis, PCOS, prior pelvic surgery, or male-factor concerns — is reason to seek an evaluation sooner.
What is the difference between IVF and ICSI?
In conventional IVF, retrieved eggs and prepared sperm are placed together in the laboratory so fertilisation can occur naturally. In ICSI, a single healthy sperm is injected directly into each mature egg. ICSI is typically recommended when sperm parameters are compromised or where prior fertilisation has failed.
How long does an IVF cycle take?
A full IVF cycle from the start of stimulation to embryo transfer typically spans four to six weeks. In frozen embryo transfer cycles, timing is more flexible and can be planned around your schedule.
Is IVF treatment painful?
Most stages involve mild discomfort at most. Stimulation injections are given with very fine needles. Egg retrieval is performed under short sedation, so the procedure itself is painless. Embryo transfer is quick and generally comparable to a routine cervical examination.
What tests are required before IVF?
Standard workup includes a hormonal profile (AMH, FSH, LH, estradiol, TSH, prolactin), pelvic ultrasound, tubal patency assessment where indicated, and semen analysis. Additional tests such as endometrial biopsy, thrombophilia screen, or genetic testing are added when clinically warranted.
Does age affect IVF success?
Yes — age is one of the strongest determinants of both egg quality and quantity. Success rates decline notably after the mid-thirties. This does not mean IVF cannot work at older ages; it means treatment planning becomes more individualised, and honest counselling about probability of success becomes even more important.
Is egg freezing suitable for everyone?
Egg freezing is most effective when performed in a woman’s twenties or early thirties, when egg quality and quantity are highest. It can also be recommended for medical reasons — before chemotherapy, for example — at any age. A pre-freezing consultation clarifies whether it makes sense in your circumstances.
Are online consultations available?
Yes. Video consultations are available for initial enquiries, follow-up, and second-opinion reviews. They are particularly useful for outstation and international patients before travel, and for post-treatment follow-up after returning home.
